I just read this book!
I don't agree with everything it says, but it's a much better read than The Myth of Monogamy that I read a while back.
I like that it doesn't try to give answers (ok, in some places it does) but mostly it's just trying to get people to ask questions. Also, it's not nearly as much about sex as it thinks it is.

Book: The Myth of Monogamy
I'm about halfway through this book, and I'm considering giving up on it. The information is relatively interesting, but I'm not at all enjoying how it's presented. The authors seem overly pleased with themselves. The writing, in an attempt to relate complicated scientific experiments and findings, uses way too many cutesy metaphors. It's also incredibly redundant.
I'll write more when I either finish reading it or give up on it for good.

First Post
A few months ago, I attended Sex 2.0, an event held to discuss the state of sex, particularly in the media. I came away from the event with curiosity & enthusiasm for several sex-related topics. Over the past few months I've paid more attention to how sex is portrayed in the media. I decided to write this blog to try to add to the positive voices. As of right now, I plan to focus on and advocate for 3 topics:
- Quality sex education
- Sex workers' rights
- Social normalization of Polyamory
